Dansk Form

Dansk Form – Design in Dialogue, is an exhibition focusing on the interaction between industrial design and one-off works.

Dialogue is established between high-tech industrial products and one-off pieces - a confrontational interchange between two worlds that very rarely meet, but which essentially spring from the same source, in spite of their differences.

These different juxtapositions are intended to surprise viewers and activate the senses. The inner logic of craft and design is highlighted by approaching pure form and surface, the logic that springs forth from the meeting  between form and function.

Juxtaposition is seen as a tool to give exhibition visitors the chance of entering actively into the language of form, the fundamental language in which both craft artists and designers essentially work.

This exhibition, which was set up by Danish Crafts and organized by the design group OCTO, was shown in 4 different locations.
